As you know, The New York Academy of Medicine has
been developing a proposal to study its library in relation to the
needs of Region II of the Regional Medical Library System. I
enclose a copy of our proposal for your information.

The Academy would welcome any comments you might S
wish to make about this proposal; we hope you agree that the
carrying out of such a study is desirable and timely.

The Academy is anxious to cooperate with The
Rockefeller University in coordinating its study with the University's
study of the proposed consortium facility and we would welcome any
suggestions you may have on implementing that cooperation and
coordination.
