Thank you for a stimulating telephone discussion. You have given me much
to think about; and I am convinced that your collaboration in Senator
Cranston's aging research organization will be invaluable. I am sending
along the NIA "Redbook" on the state of the science.

I have changed the reorganization meeting to Wednesday, 25 July, in
Senator Cranston offices (Room S-138 Capitol), 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Some tentative points for the Agenda and a list of the initial members of
the Board of Directors (who will be present) is enclosed.

I am most seriously interested in a statement of your views on the best
course for this organization, the kinds of research it should support, the
particular focus its policies should seek, etc.
