Dear Josh,

I am writing to ask whether you might be interested in
employing my technician for a year. I am going to spend five
months in Berkeley next year and my technician wants to take
off the whole year to work somewhere in the States. Her name
is Muriel Wigby and I can strongly recommend her as being
conscientious and reliable. She has been trained in most
techniques of microbial and phage genetics and she has also
had some biochemical experience as well. She also learns
very quickly indeed and if you have a large program involving

routine isolation of mutants, mapping, etc. she might be extremely

useful. If you are interested could you please let me know.
