Dear Josh,

Since writing you about names for a possible future post
on the Council,I think it would perhaps be better to avoid
those that have served once before, and bring on some new
younger blood. In this regard I would strongly recommend a
member of the Universities Council here, and a man with business
interest in New York and in Canada, Mr. Samuel Belzberg, a
graduate of the University of Alberta in Commerce, and President
of First City Banking Corporation and many subsiduary corporations.
He is a distinguished member of the Universities Council of British
Columbia and extremely well disposed to educational and phi-

lanthropic undertakings. With his own jet he commutes to New
York and would be able to attend 2 meetings a year there I am
sure.

I shall send a condenSed curriculum vitae on him along with
this letter.
