I remember with great pleasure meeting you some
years ago in Geneva on the occasion of a meeting of Advisory
Committee on Medical Research of the World Health Organiza-
tion.

Earlier this year I received an invitation from
The New York Academy of Sciences to join the Academy. For
this purpose they need a lester of recommendation from one
of their members. I worked with the late Professor Tatum
in 1965 in the Rockefeller University, and I am sending you
