Dear Sol:

Thank you for your "good wisties in passing".

I'm sorry that I can't accomodete you as far as my
thesis is concerned; the typist erred in making only two
copies, both of which are in the hends of the Yale Graduate
Faculty. Neither Tatum nor I has one now!, although we hope
leter to have some more copies typed. The thesis was con-
structed entirely from our paper in J. Baot., and one now
in press in Genetics (Bept. issue). I do not even know whether
I have a copy of this in my goods now in shipment; if I find
one, I shall certainly send it to you. Meantine, reprints of
the g. Bact paper did arrive here, afd I shall be glad to send
you two copies.
