This morning I found the book on "Infrared
Determination of Organic Structures", by
Randall et al., in the room where we met
during the weekend. Apparently it belongs
in the Chemistry Department of Stanford
University., which has led me to conclude
that you probably brought it with you on
Saturday for the conference,

In the past T have sometimes experienced
difficulties if a departmental library
book, signed out to somebody from another
department, was returned directly to that
library by somebody else. It therefore
seemed best to mail the book to you so that
it may be returned to the Chemistry Depart-
ment without causing a mixup.
