Dear Joshua and Esther:

We haven't been able to make arrangements to come to Palo Alto
next week so I guess we'll just have to postpone a family trip
until later, perhaps in the fall.

I am not yet sure but that I won't come out before the summer
is over myself to visit your laboratory and various others. I'll
write regarding this before I start.

Since your visit have been having troubles with my fermentor
and haven't progressed in enzyme purification as far as I would
have liked. The colorimetric assay for kinase can be worked up so
as to give results in about five minutes. Takes a little tinkering
however,
