Thank you most warmly for your very
mind note -- it was forwarded from Columbia and
reached me this morning at my summer address here
in Vermont. I would gladly send you a reprint of
the TELEOLOGY piece right away, but I have none
with me and will not he able to get hold of one
until we return to our aparjitment in the city
sometime in October, I'll get one to you the first

thing.

I failed to notice the announcement in the
TIMES of your election to the Presidency of Rockefeller.
My warmest congratulations and best wishes, and
hope you will enjoy the new tasks that will face
you. And I look forward to seeing you before
very long.
