We received your letter notifying us about your attendance at the board meeting, but we wanted to check with you on the complete schedule. They are as follows: 1. On October 18, 1982 we will hold our Board of Directors and Science Advisory Board meetings in New York City at the Puritan board room, 1400 Broadway, 4th floor. The plan is to begin with lunch for all who are interested at 12:00 noon and to start our Board of Directors meeting no later than 1:30 p.m This will be followed by our Science Advisory Board meeting from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. 2. At 5:30 p.m. at Rockefeller University in the Tower Building on the 17th floor we will have our cocktail party for the presenters and FIBER board members. This will be an opportunity to meet and talk informally about the particular subjects being addressed the next day. 3. At 6:30 p.m. in the same room, we will have our FIBER dinner hosted by Mary Lasker and Norma Cranston. You are all | cordially invited to attend this dinner and encouraged to bring guests. The purpose is, once again, to have a chance for the presenters for the Science Writers Seminar and the FIBER board members to meet and talk informally and for board members to bring guest who they think may be interested in the presenters and the other work of the Foundation. This dinner should be an intimate and lovely opportunity for the informal exchange of ideas and for FIBER board member guests to be introduced to the exciting opportunities before us. 4. As you know, on October 19th we will begin our Science Writers Seminar at 9:15 a.m. I am so pleased that you have , : agreed to give the introductory remarks. The seminar will Say tee conclude at 12:30 p.m. and will be followed by a luncheon for ~ all those attending. The Fund for Integrative Biomedical Research is a non-profit corporation.
