Dear Mr. Lederberg:

We are getting together information about reprints which should
be included in our 1947 volume of Collected Papers of the Fund. We will
be much obliged for your assistance in completing our records and our
collection of reprints of papers which have been published in 1947 (or
earlier if not previously included) and in which aid from this Fund is
acknowledged.

According to our records, there have been three such papers
published under Project No. 61-6. These are listed on the enclosed sheet
by title as they will appear under the name of your laboratory. We will
appreciate it if you will:

(1) check the list carefully to correct and complete it;

(2) add to it the authors, title, probable journal and date

of publication of papers in press or manuscripts submitted or
about to be submitted which may appear in the remaining months
of 1947;

(3) return the completed and corrected list of papers to us

promptly;

(4) send us as soon as possible after publication 25 reprints

of each paper which acknowledges aid from this Fund.
