Recently | wrote to you about your interesting editorial that
appeared in CHEMICAL AND ENGINEERING NEWS. 1 look forward to receiving
from you the full text that | requested in that letter. In the meantime,
you might be interested in seeing a xerox copy of a letter | recently
received from Congressman Jim Martin. Martin is one of the few chemists
in the U.S. Congress. He is a relatively conservative Republican. He
was a professor of chemistry at Davidson College (one of the Duke Endowment
colleges). | thought you would be interested in seeing that your remarks
were entered into the CONGRESSIONAL RECORD.
