This is a late note to say that Josh and I enjoyed our visit
with you on December 10. The experiment in collaboration on the
Humanities will be pursued enthusiastically, thanks largely to the
high style and great energy of Jay Oliva and Leslie Tuttleton. .

Possible inter-institutional collaborations in “Life Sciences
and Public Policy” will probably emerge more slowly. But we hope
that during 1980 our own efforts will mature to the point that we
can be more specific about the kinds of projects in which you and
your colleagues might participate.
