You will have received a letter from Bentley Glass asking about early

publication in Science of our paper for the AAAS symposium. How do you feel
about this?

I enclose a copy of my letter in reply, which asks that there be a footnote
to explain the circumstances of this review. If they are willing to include

out} I would be agreeable to this pre-publication (if only to get the d! thing
out.

In a P.S. that does not appear on your copy, I also asked about reprints.
I could use up to about 800, probably less if you order a substantial number.

I also took heed of a recent note Brom the Rockefeller Foundation, which
appears to ask that they not be acknowkedged for research aid, and have therefore
asked this: to be deleted from my acknowledgments. Do you wish to do the same?

If not, you probably ought to reaffirm it, to avoid any confusion.
