Thank you for your letter of October 21. Following your

suggestion, we will plan to go ahead with the course without

any commitment from you,but with the hope that you will see
your way clear to take part in it. In any event, we shall
keep you posted on developments.

I hope I shall be able to get up to Wisconsin during my
stay in Chicago. However, I imagine I am going to be pretty
busy, and rush to get back as soon as the series of lectures
is over. I mey, therefore, not be able to make it.
