Dear Don,

When all hope of extending Regional Medical Program was
accepted by RMP Coordinator, we became involved in the transition
period. A meeting was held in Atlanta, Georgia, May 5-7, 1975.

The National Health Planning and Resources Development Act of
1974, Public Law 93-641 was acknowledged as the great hope for the
future and as RMP veterans we were eager to make it serve the best
health interests of the people.

This brochure reviews our plans and concerns. On page 2 Senator
Ted Stevens sees this bill as "a preparatory measure to National
Health Insurance." I don't believe that the RMP Coordinators
shared his view.
