Attached are a few background materials for our meeting on Monday at
9 a.m. in Mr. Rubel's office. They relate to certain specific areas
or matters we will be considering.

1. An outline of considerations that need to be taken into account in
developing an agenda for the Sept.-Oct. meetings with CHP, Hill-
Burton, and RMP representatives. ,

2. Another outline relating to RO involvement in. HRP implementation,

3. A brief summary of the technical assistance requirements in the
pending HRP legislation, and the relevant sections of H.R. 16204,

4. A copy cf @ draft memo from ASH re implementation of new legislation,
