Program Goals - 1972

 

Initiate steps on a long-range program to develop an interrelated kidney
program to provide therapy for the best medical candidates, 8,000 to 10,000

persons annually.

Program operates through award of project contracts to

hospitals, medical schools, and research firms and ‘through grants to Regional

Medical Programs.
