Suamary of Auguet 1967 Council Actions on RMP Applications
Five applications were recommended for approval. Although some of there
recommendations Luclude the transmittal of the concerne of Council and
others require routine budget adjustments, none of these matters are
“conditions of eward." Preparetion of awards can proceed and this Braach
will provide inserts for the award letters as eppropriate:

Tennecsee Mid-South

California (Stanford) - advise concerning active involvement
outeide the Medical Center

South Caroling - adjustment of the budget period and advise
concerning consultative services

Operational supplemeat for -

Wisconein - adjustment of the budget according to subsaquent
correspondence with the Coordinator

Although the remainder of the applications were recommended for conditional

approval, each will require considerable negotiation by staff and reeub-
mission of budget and other materials, prior to preparation of awards.
