the Netionsl Advisory Councli om Regionsl Medical Programs auf the
Februsry 26-27 meeting.

These requests arise when regions submit non-competing continu: tion
planning applications recuesting amounis which harkedly exceed che amounts
comaitied for che year. As we expleined at the Last meeiing of Council,
it haa been Dr, Marston's dectaion chet such fequests - psariuleularly in
instances in which they represent incresses in progr-m bese which wlll
ifkely be permonent should be brought to the «ttention of Couneil eng
subject to their consider..tion.
