I am very much interested in a survey of how much money is being spent on research in diseases which are the main cause of death and disability. Do you have any idea how much is being spent nationally on research in heart diseases, and where the main amounts are being spent? I would like to give these figures to Senator Pepper, as he has asked me to collect some information for him.
