After nearly half a year I received a report on COGENE from Giorgio Bernardi.  As you know from ICSU correspondence, you whave been asked to serve on a review panel for COGENE and I would like to ask you to send me your comments on the report and on COGENE activities for the period 1989 - 1991.  I will then try to prepare a draft commentary and send it to you for approval.
