Dear Mary,
It's beginning to get hot and makes one think of a summer vacation. I am anxious to hear what the final plan is. I enclose a card from Mrs. Denison. I infer from it that she will be content to stay on until after the auto trip. What would you think of leaving our plans quite uncertain until after the trip with her and then doing just what we wanted to at the time. I shall be content either way, whether we go abroad or stay here.
Think that we shall go to New Haven for Sunday to see the Parks. I was to go the Sunday after your operation.
Elsie is coming back to Denver soon, Margaret Frazer going out to take the trip back with her. I think that they will go abroad for the summer and if they go they want to meet us over there which would be fine.
I am sending Carla a long letter about Foundation business. I called on Edward Sheldon the other day and spoke so wonderfully of Carla. I should say that she did him the most good of any one who comes to see him. I hope that I can get Carla to spend the night with me while she is here. I am so near Edward that she would find it quite convenient.
