May 5, 1926 Dear Mary, Dr. Cunningham is here and we have talked all day long. To-morrow he will be here and we shall count rabbits all day. Its fine to see him and it seems to me that he is doing very fine work in his new place. He would like to come North however. Its hard for a Southerner to live North a while and then go back South. The movie of Ben Hur is very fine indeed. If it comes to Denver be sure to see it. There are lovely scenes in it. I wonder how the English general strike will come out and whether it will affect the boats. Its very serious I think. The wages of those miners seem to me terrible, the proposed is % to 13 a week working half a year. With love, Florence
