September 18, 1933. Dear Curt: Your letter came the day I was leaving for Chicago. Dr. Parker and I drove out to see the "Century of Progress". It was a great show and I am very glad that I went. I just got back last night. We did not decide to go until just before leaving so that I could not notify you that I would be late in getting up to Rochester. I shall try to come sometime within the next seven days if it is all right with you. I have a few things I must do about here to catch up before I can take a day off. I also want to watch the weather map so that I won't get into a rainy day. It is only a 90 mile drive from here so that I can come up, Evelyn, you and I can have lunch together and I can come back in the afternoon. Is there any day that will be more convenient than others? Could you give me your telephone number so that I could call and if I did not get you I could leave a message for you. Will see you within a few days - As always, Barb
