Dear Dr Kornberg
It is with the greatest interest that we hear of your experiments on the syntheses of DNA.  We are now finishing the details of our X ray diffraction work on DNA and would be very interested to widen our studies somewhat.  I wonder if your work has yet reached a stage where you might be able to produce sufficient material for X ray study?  (one or 2 mgms would do).  In any case we would be very glad if you could send in reprints of your publications on this subject.
