Thank you very much for your letter.  I am very interested in your results.
I have calculated Fourier projections from the equatorial data, in very much the same way as you (using the theoretical shape of the central peak) and I find a heavy density shell at about r = 55A.  My intensity measurements are undoubtedly less accurate than yours, but they extend to much larger angles, which enabled me to calculate a complete projection rather than its difference from a uniform rod.
I am at present busy writing up this and other aspects of the work and hope to be able to send you a copy of a draft paper in a week or two.
