Dear Mr.  Ambassador:
I am writing to you in relation to the current situation of Dr. Anatoliy Koryagin. From what I have heard, he is in rather bad physical shape as a result of his very prolonged prison sentence, and sentence to internal exile.  I know that Dr. Koryagin is thought highly of in professional circles of world psychiatry and is, clearly, an important and dedicated scientist in his field. I know that these letters come to you constantly, but I try to keep my own correspondence limited to those individuals who are really fine people who deserve some special consideration. Whatever you could do to help him would be greatly appreciated by myself and the
world community of science.
