November 21, 1995 Dear Ilana, Thank you again for your plans and efforts which worked out smoothly and guaranteed me, and all the others, a good week at the Institute. I am enclosing, as you requested, a copy of the little talk at the memorial garden in Chris's honor. Many of the audience asked me for a copy, so I leave it in your capable hands to dispense as you see fit. I would like a copy to go to Haim Harari who was in Haifa and missed the dedication. I really must thank Haim and the Institute fathers for this fitting and appropriate tribute. The symbolism of the Weizmann tree of life/and of knowledge and the garden of seedlings and flowers was appreciated by me, and Chris would have thought so too. I hope to see it again when it really takes root . . . just as the Institute has throughout the world. All best wishes for a happy Hanukah. Sincerely, Libby E. Anfinsen P.S. I would like a copy of the video, and the pictures during the week that Chana in photography has.
