                        CIRCULAR ORDER,

    Medical  Directors of Divisions in this  District are urged to use
greater diligence and  punctuality in collecting and transmitting to
this office the sick reports from the Regimental Surgeons under their
control.  They will send in their monthly  return of Medical officers
officers in their Division or District at the end of each  month.
   The Surgeons of Regiments which are  detached  and not serein;/
with any Division will transmit their monthly reports of sick directly
to me, care of Surgeon E. Swift, Nashville, Tenn.
   They must make a note in their monthly report of sick, giving the
name of  any Medical  officers or contract Surgeon serving  with their
Kogimont, and state whether present or absent.
