Sec. 12.—The prompt payment of the annual tax, for incidental expenses, after its amount lias been confirmed by a vote of the So- ciety, shall be considered a point of honor. Sec. 13.—No member shall speak more thanoncc upon the same subject, while any other nothaving spokcn desires tobe heard; nor shall any spealcer occupy more than 15 minutes, unless by a vote of the meeting. Sec. 11.—The Président shall appoint ail Committees, unless otherwise ordered by the Society. Sec. 15.—Ail Standing Committees shall be required to keep minutes of their proceedings; and the reading of thèse minutes shall be considered as their report. Sec. 16.—Thèse By-Laws shall not be changed or amended, un- less by a vote of two-thirds of the members présent at any regular meeting; but the opération of anyof them may be suspended for the time being by a majority of the members présent at any meeting. To which was appended the following: The subscribers, having been duly constitutcd members of the Médical Society of Frederick County, auxiliary to the Medico Chirurgical Society of the State, of which the Constitution and By- Laws are hereunto annexed, do hereby pledge their honor to con- form themselves thereto, and to ail such other raies and régulations as may hereafter be adopted conformably therewith,so long asthey shall severally continue tobe members ofsaid Society. In testimony whereofthey liave affixed Iheir respective signatures. On motion of Dr. Samuel Tylei, it was Resolved, That this Society return their thanks to Dr. Jacob Baer and Dr. J. W. Geyer, for their valuable services as officers of the Convention. On r»-«tm of Dr. Jacob Baer, it was resolved, That a délégation of five be appointed, by the Prési- dent, to attend the meeting of the Medico Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland, to be held on the 7th of this month in Baltimore city. The Président appointed the following committee:—Dr. Lloyd Dorsey, Dr. Jefferson Shields, Dr. Springer, of Middletown, Dr. A Ritchie and Dr. W. W. Mead. On motion of Dr. Baer, it was Resolved, That one hundred copies of thèse proceedings be pub- lished, for the use of the Society. On motion of Dr. J. W. Geyer, the Society adjourned until the first Saturday in July next, at 10 o'clock, A.
