ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about January 26, 1949, by Gulf Sea Foods, Inc., 
from Calexico, Calif.
PRODUCT: 20 cases, each containing 8 5-pound cartons, of frozen shrimp at 
Denver, Colo.
LABEL IN PART:    "Fresh Frozen Shrimp   *   *    *   Product of Mexico."
NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted 
in whole or in part of a decomposed substance by reason of the presence of 
decomposed shrimp.
Misbranding, Section 403 (e)   (1), the product failed to bear a label con- 
taining the name and address of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor.
DISPOSITION :   April 18, 1949.   Default decree of condemnation and destruction.
