<dc:description>As the US population ages and individuals stay in the workforce longer, trends suggest that an increasing share of family caregivers will be in the labor force. This means many face the dual demands of employment and caregiving responsibilities for family members or friends with a serious illness or disability. Using data from the Caregiving in the U.S. 20201 survey, this AARP Public Policy Institute Spotlight profiles employed caregivers and highlights the impacts of managing both responsibilities. It also identifies significant changes among employed family caregivers since the last Caregiving in the U.S. survey in 2015.</dc:description>
