Pulp protection techniques Dental Pulp Capping -- methods Root Canal Filling Materials -- therapeutic use (Critical) This program demonstrates the proper mixing and placement of three types of dental pulp protection materials including calcium hydroxide, zinc phosphate cement, and cavity varnish with a prepared typodont molar tooth prior to the placement of the final restorative material. The presentation contains several deficiencies such as a lack of discussion of other acceptable pulp protection materials, the different methods of cavity preparation, and the wide selection of final restorative materials currently available.
