<dc:description>This is a color illustrated postcard created by English illustrator and author, Margaret Tarrant. Beginning in 1921 she worked largely for the Medici Society. This postcard shows a woodland scene with elf children tending to various animals. On the left, a door labeled "Dispensary" opens from a hollow tree. A girl has opened the door to a line of animals waiting for care, including a hedgehog with a cane and scarf, a bird with a bandage around its head and a lizard. In the middle of the scene a boy listens to a rabbit's heart with a stethoscope. A girl and boy are wrapping a bandage around a bird's leg. Other animals in the scene include a mouse drinking from a bottle of medicine, a frog with a cane, a rabbit with a sling around its left leg, a squirrel with a white bandage safety pinned around its neck, a duck and two owls. The sign "Hospital" is hung between two trees.</dc:description>
