Famous Persons Nurses Hospitals, Military Military Personnel Postcard featuring a black and white photograph of Field Marshall Paul von Hindenburg with nurses and patients at a military hospital at Pinne. Also known as Lwówek, Pinne is now part of Poland, but at the time was occupied by German forces. Hindenburg, in uniform and with his hands in his pockets, stands at the center of a group of patients and nurses, some seated and some standing. The patients are dressed in dark uniforms and some have arms in slings. The nurses are wearing long dark dresses with white aprons and caps. There are also a few civilians in the picture: four women, one man, and a child. The child has blonde hair with a dark bow, a dark dress, and a white sash.
