  <dc:description>Dr. Hallam discussed her curatorial work with the National Library of Medicine&apos;s Michael Zwerdling collection of postcards depicting images and photographs of twentieth-century nurses and nursing. The collection is the centerpiece of physical and web-based exhibits including a digital gallery presenting nearly 600 postcards from the collection. Mr. Zwerdling is a hospice nurse who collected the postcards from more than 70 countries over the course of several decades.</dc:description>
