The older father, Charles, describes his own experience growing up in a family of eight children, reliant on a bus driver's salary and an overworked mother who died too young. The younger man, Joe, age 24, is an unemployed father of three, nervously awaiting his wife's fourth and difficult delivery. Charles explains that he and his wife learned about Planned Parenthood early in their marriage and paid a visit so that they could get advice on spacing their children. Charles describes Planned Parenthood as a welcoming place with useful, accessible information and recommends it to Joe, who would prefer not to have a new baby each year.
