Health Policy and Services Research

Browse this collection

The Health Policy and Services Research Collection is a curated compilation of gray literature, which is defined by the New York Academy of Medicine as that “produced on all levels of government, academics, business and industry in print and electronic formats, but which is not controlled by commercial publishers."

Grey literature can offer a more complete view of the research by providing access to information that may not be found in formally published sources (reports, dissertations, conference abstracts, official documents, research-in-progress, clinical trials, etc).

Health services research (HSR) broadly examines issues of cost, access and quality of health care, as well as the impact these aspects may have on the health of a group or an individual.
