Abstract:
This photographic postcard shows several people smoking marijuana using a chalice. The chalice, made from a coconut, is a type of water pipe. The marijuana in the pipe is steamed, rather than burnt, and the smoke is cooled and filtered. The postcard shows the users exhaling a large amount of smoke from their nostrils. The words "Jamaican Chalice" are in orange and yellow script at the bottom of the card. There is a Jamaican flag on each side of the words.
