This colorfully illustrated postcard depicts Alice and the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland. In the center of the card is the green Caterpillar smoking a hookah and sitting atop a red and white mushroom. Alice is wearing a blue dress and sits under the mushroom with her eyes closed. The ground and sky are dark with bubbles from the hookah floating in the air.
