The subject of this postcard is the displaying of the AIDS Memorial Quilt in Washington, DC in October, 1996. The card shows four quilt squares sewn together. The outline of the quilt, the threads and the images are in pink. One square contains the AIDS ribbon, the next a heart, and the third contains a lit candle in a holder. The final square contains the Gay/Lesbian History Stamp Club logo: a postage stamp with a pink triangle, which is a symbol of the LGBTQ community, and the abbreviation GLHSC. AIDS is in black text at the top of the card. A needle with thread is running through the letters.
