Multicolored and black & white images laid out in a nine-patch quilt block design. The images in the top left and the bottom right feature purple text. The image on the top right hand side features black text. Other images include black & white photos of an eye, a woman with long black hair, a leg with with two hands wearing dark nail polish, and an image of a young woman with short hair wearing a white t-shirt. .There are two color images, one of a flower and one of a traffic light. The postcard advertises a fundraiser for the Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt during the weekend the quilt was on display on the National Mall in Washington, DC in Oct.1996. The postcard recto features black print with details of the event, including where to buy tickets and the names of various sponsoring organizations.
