Abstract:
The image on this postcard is based on the photograph of United States Marines raising the American flag on Iwo Jima during WWII. In the black and white image, four men support the flag while the fifth implants the flagpole in the ground. Although the image is in black and white, the flag appears to be the rainbow-colored Pride flag. At the top of the card "Conquer" appears in the colors of the rainbow, while the rest of the text is white. The Gay Men Fighting Aids logo appears along the bottom of the card.
