Abstract:
This postcard was issued as part of the "Gib AIDS keine Chance" (Don't Give AIDS a Chance) campaign, and in particular its "mach's mit" (Do it with [a condom]) theme, to encourage the use of condoms. The text "Frühlingsgefühle" is in black at the top left. A butterfly is depicted made from condoms. The wings are each of a yellow condom with a slightly smaller green condom below. Black lines are used to show the body and antennae. Two additional lines are at each side of the wings giving the appearance of motion. "GIB AIDS keine Chance" appears in a box in the bottom left corner of the card. The text is in black and all capital letters, except for AIDS, which has white text on a red background. "Mach's mit is in black text at the bottom right of the card.
