- Abstract:
- A photographic postcard featuring a group of ten people in front of a wooden building with a door and two large windows partially visible. In the center of the photograph is a Red Cross nurse in a white uniform and veil sitting on a bench. She is looking at a man on her left who appears to bow to her, respectfully holding his cap in his right hand. He is wearing a dark coat, light colored pants and is holding a walking stick in his left hand. Standing behind him is a man in white shirt and long white apron, with a white handkerchief tied on top of his head. His right hand is stretched out to the bowing man's back. On the nurse's right are two seated men. The one right next to her looks like he could be an officer in a military uniform. He is sitting with his legs crossed, has stirrups on his shoes and is holding a whip. On his right is a man in civilian clothes, wearing a dark coat and hat, his arms and legs crossed. He is turned toward a woman standing on his right, looking down at the egg she is offering him, possibly an Easter egg. Behind the bench are four men. Two in the center are facing each other in conversation. The other two men appear to be standing by themselves. Underneath the picture are words all in caps: Munadepühi ja suuri mune!
