- Abstract:
- Artistic and well-photographed documentary film tells the stories of two Black families and one White family and the various problems they face as a result of too many children. In their own words, the women of these families tell of the economic, physical, and psychological problems associated with large families. Narrator provides commentary on each family situation to unify film. No contraceptive advice is given, although frequent reference is made to family planning. Designed for use in post-partum clinics, family planning clinics, and public education programs in the rural South to help women understand the need for birth control.
