This film shows how American soldiers became exposed to various diseases during World War II, leading scientists to search for ways to eliminate the fleas, lice, mosquitoes, and flies that spread contagion. DDT is discovered to be especially effective and can be applied in various ways. It is used to control epidemics in both military and civilian settings.
