This silent film demonstrates radium treatment for cancer of the cervix. It includes intertitles to explain the procedure. Footage includes the application of the internal radiation, including the introduction of the colpostat and the packing of gauze in the vagina. Cervix models illustrate the placement of the cervical applicator at different angles. The film also shows the application of external radiation by high voltage x-rays. This film was shot at the Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.
