Abstract:
This program offers guidance for parents of disabled children in selecting toys for them, which are presented here as tools for educational stimulation and growth, opportunities to build on a child’s weaknesses and strengths. Placement of the toys in the child’s environment is important, as is providing a variety of diversions. The children and toy suggestions are presented in developmental sequence, not the actual age of the child.
